1. Dorm Room Packing Service
- Items packed by our professional team
- One storage period included (full semester/summer)
- Items picked up and delivered during a predetermined date at the start of the next semester
- Each packed box is $75 after the first four
- Oversized items that require special packaging will incur an
additional fee - Shipping is available anywhere in the world at an additional cost

2. Standard Pickup, Storage and Redelivery
- You pack all items and choose from one of our predetermined
pick up dates. We pick up and transport items to our storage facility - One storage period included (full semester/summer)
- Delivery at the start of the new semester
- First four standard items included
- Shipping is available anywhere in the world at an additional cost
- Inside Pickup and delivery are available at an additional charge
- Boxes and packing materials are available at an additional cost

What Items Can I Store?
ShipMyRoom can pack, move, ship, and store ANY item. Your items do not need to fit inside the 18″ x 18″ x 24″ boxes provided by us. Our professional packing team will securely transport and store any item except for liquids, food, and hazardous materials.

Moving out can feel overwhelming, but we’re here to make it simple! Follow these quick tips to ensure a smooth and successful move-out with ShipMyRoom:
Label Everything Clearly
Put your full name and school on every box, bin, and bag. If you’re storing items, label them with “STORAGE.” If you’re shipping them home, label them with “SHIP” + your home address.
Make a Packing List
Keep track of what you’re packing. It helps with peace of mind—and makes unpacking next semester easier.
Don’t Overpack Boxes
Heavy boxes break and are harder to carry. Use several medium boxes instead of one giant one. Keep weight under 50 lbs if possible.
Clean & Defrost
If you’re storing a mini-fridge or microwave, defrost and clean them 24 hours before pick-up to avoid mold and damage.
Keep Essentials With You
Pack a small suitcase or bag with essentials you’ll need over the summer—like chargers, medicine, and important documents.
Take Photos Before You Seal
Snap quick pics of what’s inside each box. It helps if you need to reference items later and can be helpful for claims if anything is damaged.
Secure Your Items
Tape boxes securely and avoid using garbage bags—they tear easily and aren’t accepted for long-term storage.
